Hope is a 2-1/2 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. Hope was found injured on the side of the road and had to have her leg amputated. But nothing has stopped her and she runs like the wind! She is housebroken and crate trained. She gets along well with other dogs and kids but has not been exposed to cats. Hope is loving, intelligent, and enjoys interacting with her humans. She will make a good companion dog for an owner who understands the characteristics of the breed and is willing to work with her. She is even-tempered, loves her crate and dog bed. She has a slight fear of thunder/lightning but finds a quiet space that makes her feel safe. Hope loves to greet everyone that comes to visit in her foster home and has been a great companion to all the dogs that have come and gone. She will need a family that is willing to give her the time to adjust to her new home.
